About Lauren Barden
Lauren Barden has been helping students prepare for the SAT and ACT since 2005. A former Master Tutor with Appelrouth Tutoring in Atlanta, Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Emory University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She went on to complete her master’s degree in education at Harvard University. Lauren has worked in selective college admissions and student affairs since 2002, serving as Associate Dean of Admission at Emory University and, most recently, as Associate Director of College Counseling at Christ Church Episcopal School. Lauren combines her passion for working with students and improving college access with her experience in SAT and ACT prep in order to help students best prepare for standardized college entrance exams.
Lauren resides in Greenville with her husband and daughter.
